CNBC talks to Rooibos Ltd MD Martin Bergh about new EU partnership agreement

Business news TV channel CNBC Africa interviewed Rooibos Ltd's Managing Director Martin Bergh on the prospects of the Economic Partnership Agreement between the European Union and six Southern African countries. Says Bergh: "We are not really concerned about Brexit, but we are concerned about the Pound. If the Pound weakens materially, it would mean Rooibos becomes more expensive in England, which will most probably suppress demand."

Glen Rooibos becomes official tea supplier of Cuppa for CANSA events

Unilever's Glen Rooibos has become the official tea supplier for the Cancer Association of South Africa's Cuppa for CANSA events. CANSA CEO Elize Joubert says the risk of up to 40% of cancers may be reduced through lifestyle factors. CANSA recognises Rooibos as a source that may reduce risk. "We are fortunate that Rooibos is indigenous to South Africa, making it affordable and easily accessible."

Liezel Fransman, assistant in Rooibos Ltd's tourist facility, received her CATHSSETA certificate after completing the three-module Customer Services Training Programme.
