The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf supports Driefontein’s education fund
Born and brewed in Southern California since 1963, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is the oldest and largest privately-held specialty coffee and tea retailer in the USA. The company’s Director of Tea, David DeCandia, visited Rooibos Ltd in March this year to find out more about Rooibos and Honeybush and to make a Caring Cup contribution towards the education fund of the children on the Rooibos farm Driefontein. At Driefontein, which is run as a small farmers’ cooperative, member-farmers produce Rooibos using Fairtrade as their business model of quality and sustainability to positively affect the lives of over 150 people.
