Be there at the Freshpak Fitness Festival in Clanwilliam on Saturday, 3 October 2015

About 1 350 fitness and health enthusiasts will be competing in various swimming, cycling and running challenges at the annual Freshpak Fitness Festival, which is the Western Cape's largest multi-sport festival. Amateur and professional athletes can enter as individuals or teams for events such as swimming (1.5km or 3km), a duathlon (5km run/20km cycle/2.5km run), a biathlon (5km run/20km cycle) or a triathlon (800m swim/20km cycle/5km run). Younger kids can compete in the FitKids challenge (1km run, 200m swim, 1km run) or the Run for Fun (1km).

The event takes place in and around Clanwilliam, also known as Rooibos country. The scenic beauty of this town and the surrounding Cederberg mountains, and all the festivities that form part of the Freshpak Fitness Festival make this event ideal for families and friends as well.

A percentage of the proceeds raised from entry fees of this Freshpak Rooibos event will be donated to CANSA. Rooibos, which grows only in the Cederberg, has anti-oxidant properties that help to fight cancer.
