  • Rooibos Sorbet from tea company TeeGschwendner, Germany – a refreshing sorbet with fruit and Rooibos

    Ingredients
    18 g Nr. 1322 Rooitea Marlon (Rooibos with dried mango and passion fruit)
    50 g castor sugar
    300 g frozen fruit (e.g. exotic fruits)
    1 egg white, beaten
    1 shot pineapple syrup
    1 shot passion fruit syrup
    Pineapple pieces for garnishing

    Method

    • Brew 18 g Rooitea Marlon (Rooibos with dried mango and passion fruit) in 100 ml of boiling water, and let it stand for 5 minutes.
    • Pour Rooibos mix in a bowl on ice to cool off quickly.
    • Put the frozen fruit into a blender and mix with castor sugar until smooth.
    • Add the Rooibos and the syrup.
    • Lastly, add the beaten egg white and mix thoroughly.
    • Put in freezer.
