Meet the new faces at Rooibos Ltd

Anne van Jaarsveld

Anne joined Rooibos Ltd in November 2013 as Food Safety Officer in the Quality Control Department. She studied BSc Food Science at Stellenbosch University, focusing on HACCP and food safety processes. She loves challenges, new learning curves and teamwork. “Of course, it helps to work in such a beautiful town!” Anne loves nature and spending time with family and friends in the outdoors, especially around a campfire.

Anca Easton

Anca was a teacher in Augrabies before joining Rooibos Ltd in January this year as Producer Liaison Officer in the Technical Department. She brings to the table people skills, organisational skills and the ability to “think on my feet”. She sees herself as a go-getter who thrives on challenges, team spirit and creativity. She loves nature and discovering the Rooibos production processes. Anca is married, and she loves walking, running, cycling, reading, cooking and crocheting.

Natasha (Tessa) Farmer

Tessa, joined Rooibos Ltd in January this year as Stock Controller: Raw Materials / Production Scheduler in the Processing Department. She is a qualified bookkeeper and she regards herself as a people’s person who loves teamwork. “My greatest strength is my personal values of integrity and commitment to my work and family, no matter how difficult the challenges.” Tessa and her husband have a six-year-old son with cerebral palsy – “the most lovable child”. Tessa likes music and road trips with her family as this “gives us time to bond”.

Liezel van der Westhuizen

Liezel worked at an environmental services company in Malmesbury before joining Rooibos Ltd as Certification Officer in the Technical Department in January this year. She did an Honours degree in Geo-Environmental Sciences, and she regards herself as “efficient and organised”, preferring to do things correctly right from the start. She is in a long-term relationship, and she loves meeting new people, discovering new places and acquiring new knowledge. Liezel’s pastimes include spending time at the sea, creativity and reading.
